• TRUE POSITIVE ACTION ONE WAY VALVE is not a diaphragm or "flapper" valve that relies on exhaled air from the victim to close the valve. The valve used in the ANOTHER CHANCE ^(TM) CPR device is the same valve used in FAA certifi ed life vests supplied on all commercial aircraft.

   

• REMOTE EXHAUST TUBE routes the victim's moisture laden exhaled air away from the users face. The device IS EASY TO USE - just pinch tube instead of victim's nose - release to allow air to escape - repeat the process - (pinch - blow - release).< /LI>

   

• NOSE CLIP quickly and securely closes the victim's nose.

   

• ONE SIZE FITS ALL except for infants.

• HEADBAND holds unit securely in place allowing single user to perform chest compressions from either side. ANOTHER CHANCE ^(TM) does not need to be held in place by hand. The device adapts easily and seals well with any size or shaped face even if bearded.

   

• LATEX GLOVES are provided for additional protection.

   

• TONGUE DEPRESSOR is provided. The user may wish to use the depressor to clear victims mouth prior to administering CPR. NOTE: if vomiting occurs, immediately remove the ANOTHER CHANCE ^(TM) device. The unit can then be c leared by blowing through the inlet valve, then shaking the device to clear the exhaust tube. The ANOTHER CHANCE ^(TM) device can then be reinserted to resume CPR. IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE that other CPR devices diaphragm and flapper valve s can be rendered inoperable if vomitus enters the directional flow control chamber and fouls the valve.

   

• EXTENSION TUBE can be used if the user desires more distance away from the victims face. Simply test the extension tube over the inlet valve and blow.

   

• OXYGEN INLET can be utilized when professional assistance arrives with oxygen. Simply remove the red cap and connect the oxygen directly without having to remove the ANOTHER CHANCE ^(TM)

   

• ZIP LOCK PLASTIC BAG is provided for responsible disposal of the unit, tongue depresoor and gloves.
